Selectable options

Please make it so that we are able to select products on different pages. For example, if i upload 32 items and need to select 32 items, I cannot do that by simply selecting all 32 items, I have to filter it so that only the 32 items are visible, and then select them all. Why can I not select 5 items on page 1 and 2 items on page 2.
